Subscription
What is the Luxilo subscription?

The Luxilo subscription is an all-inclusive monthly plan that gives you access to a fleet of 24 to 37 premium vehicles. One monthly payment covers insurance, maintenance, road tax and access to the fleet. You then pay a discounted daily rate only when you actually drive.

Compared to traditional rentals, you save up to 50% on equivalent usage.

What's the difference between Luxilo Plus and Luxilo One?

Luxilo Plus — 690 AED/month + 7,990 AED activation. Access to 24 vehicles in categories 1, 2 and 3. Perfect for everyday driving.

Luxilo One — 990 AED/month + 18,990 AED activation. Access to all 37 vehicles across all 5 categories, including supercars (Lamborghini Urus, Porsche GT3, Mercedes G900). The full experience.

Both subscriptions include unlimited switches, pause anytime, 2 drivers, no deposit, and 24/7 assistance.

Can I really pause my subscription?

Yes. You can pause your monthly payments anytime when you don't need a car (travel, business trip, etc.). While paused, no monthly fee is charged. You resume whenever you're ready.

Is there a security deposit on the subscription?

No. The subscription includes zero security deposit. You only pay the activation fee, the monthly subscription, and the daily rate when you actually drive a vehicle.

How do I subscribe?

Tap the Subscribe button on our Subscription page or message us directly on WhatsApp. Subscription is set up within 24 hours after eligibility check.

Booking & rental
Who can rent a Luxilo vehicle?

The Renter must be at least 20 years old and hold a valid driving licence — a UAE licence for residents, or a home-country licence accompanied by an International Driving Permit (IDP) for tourists.

Renters between 20 and 25 years old are covered at 90% only by the insurance policy; the remaining 10% of any claim is borne by the Renter.

A valid passport (or Emirates ID for residents) and a credit card in the Renter's name are required at pick-up.

What is the minimum rental period?

The minimum rental period is one day (24 hours). A grace period of 1 hour is allowed at return; beyond that, an additional full day will be charged.

How do I book a vehicle?

Three options:

What documents do I need at pick-up?

• Valid passport with UAE entry stamp (tourists) or Emirates ID (residents)
• Valid driving licence + International Driving Permit if tourist
• Credit card in the Renter's name for the security deposit

Is a security deposit required?

You have two options:

Option 1 — Standard security deposit. A refundable amount, depending on the vehicle category, is held on your credit card or paid by bank transfer. It is fully refunded after the rental is closed and any pending charges (Salik, fines, fuel, damages) are settled.

Option 2 — No-deposit option via Blacklist. For eligible Renters, we offer a no-deposit alternative operated through Blacklist, our trusted partner. No amount is blocked on your card; eligibility is confirmed at booking.

Both options are available — the choice is yours at reservation.

What payment methods are accepted?

Cash, bank transfer, credit card, and approved digital payment methods. The Renter authorises Luxilo in advance to debit any rental-related charges (rental fees, Salik, traffic fines, fuel, damages, etc.) from the credit or charge card on file.

Are the prices on the website final?

The rates displayed are indicative prices including VAT (5%) and the standard 250 km/day mileage allowance. They do not include any additional service such as delivery, additional driver, child seat, fuel top-up or out-of-Dubai pick-up.

Salik tolls, traffic fines, fuel and any damages incurred during the rental are added at closing. The final quote is confirmed at booking.

Mileage, fuel & vehicle care
What is the mileage allowance?

Daily contract: 250 km / day
Weekly contract: 1,400 km / week
Monthly contract: 4,500 km / month

Excess mileage is charged at 25 AED per kilometre, calculated when the contract is closed.

Is fuel included?

No. The vehicle is delivered with a recorded fuel level and must be returned with the same level. If fuel is missing, the cost of refuelling plus a service charge will be debited from the Renter's credit card.

Can I smoke in the vehicle?

No. Luxilo applies a strict non-smoking policy. Vehicles returned with smoke or any unacceptable odour will go through a steam-cleaning treatment, and a service fee of 1,000 AED will apply.

Do I have to service the vehicle during a long rental?

The vehicle should be serviced according to the service tag on the windscreen. The Renter must inform Luxilo when the service mileage is reached. Failure to do so makes the Renter liable for any damage caused by the lack of servicing, plus the rental amount during repairs.

During the rental
How are Salik tolls charged?

Salik (Dubai toll) crossings are charged at 5 AED per gate and debited from the Renter's credit card.

What happens if I receive a traffic fine?

Traffic fines incurred during the rental period are debited from the Renter's credit card.

Fines may be registered late by the authorities. Luxilo reserves the right to debit any fine notified after the rental period ends.

Can someone else drive the vehicle?

Only an Additional Driver registered in the rental agreement at pick-up. The additional driver must meet the same eligibility requirements as the main Renter.

Sub-renting is strictly prohibited. Allowing an unauthorised person to drive the vehicle voids the insurance and exposes the Renter to full liability.

Can I drive outside the UAE?

No. The vehicle may not be driven outside the territory of the United Arab Emirates. The insurance policy covers UAE only — driving abroad voids the cover and the Renter assumes full liability.

Can I drive off-road or on the beach?

No. The insurance covers paved roads within the UAE only. It does not cover off-road, desert, mountain, flooded or rough-terrain driving. Any damage caused under such conditions, including from contaminated fuel or sea/sand, is fully at the Renter's charge.

What should I do in case of an accident?

1. Make sure everyone is safe and call emergency services if needed.
2. Call the Dubai Police immediately and obtain an official police report — without it, no insurance claim can be processed and the Renter will be liable for full repair costs.
3. Inform Luxilo as soon as possible at +971 58 286 0119.
4. Send the police report to contact@driveluxilo.com.

Do not admit responsibility to any third party on the spot.

What if the vehicle breaks down?

Do not attempt repairs yourself or take the vehicle to a garage without prior written approval from Luxilo. Call us immediately on +971 58 286 0119. Any unauthorised repair will not be reimbursed.

Insurance & liability
What does the insurance cover?

A comprehensive UAE motor insurance policy covering third-party liability, applicable on paved roads within the UAE. The Renter remains liable for the insurance excess in case of accident or damage.

What is the accident excess?

In the event of an accident caused by the Renter, an excess of 5,000 AED minimum applies. Higher excess may apply for ultra-luxury and supercar categories — the exact amount is stated in the rental agreement at signature.

What is NOT covered by the insurance?

Items always at the Renter's charge:

Windshields (front, rear, side windows)
Tyres, wheels (alloy or steel) and wheel caps
Battery, tools
Interior upholstery and related accessories
• Damage from contaminated fuel, water/flood, sea, off-road, desert, sand, alcohol or drugs
• Damage caused by an unauthorised driver or in violation of these terms

I'm under 25 — am I covered?

Renters aged 18 to 25 are covered at 90% only. In case of any claim, the Renter is liable for the remaining 10% in addition to the standard excess.

Will I get a replacement vehicle if there's an accident?

If the accident is caused by the Renter, no replacement vehicle is provided until the end of the pre-paid rental period.

If the accident is caused by a third party, Luxilo may provide a replacement vehicle until the end of the pre-paid rental period, subject to availability.

What about parking damage?

The Renter must always park the vehicle safely in a proper parking area. Damage caused by illegal or irresponsible parking, where the insurance company refuses the claim, is fully borne by the Renter.

Delivery & return
Where is the vehicle picked up?

At our office in The Binary by Omniyat, Office 1914-211, Floor 19, Business Bay, Dubai, or at any agreed location within Dubai (delivery fees may apply).

Do you offer delivery outside Dubai?

Yes — collection or delivery outside Dubai is available for an additional fee of 800 AED.

What if I return the vehicle early?

The appropriate rate for the shorter rental period will be charged. If a credit balance remains, a credit note for use against future rentals is issued. No cash refund is provided.

What if I return the vehicle late?

A grace period of 1 hour is allowed. Beyond that, an additional full day will be charged. If the Renter fails to return the vehicle on time, the rental agreement is automatically renewed for a similar period at Luxilo's discretion, and the corresponding charges are debited from the credit card on file.

Can the vehicle be exchanged during the rental?

Yes. If the vehicle is due for service, repair, or sale, Luxilo may request its return and provide a replacement. The same vehicle is not guaranteed to be returned to the Renter afterwards.

What about belongings left in the car?

Luxilo is not responsible for any belongings or valuables left in the vehicle at the time of return or exchange. Always double-check before handing the vehicle back.

How quickly is my deposit returned?

The security deposit is released after the rental is closed and any pending charges (Salik, fines, fuel, damages) are settled. Late-registered fines may take several weeks to appear; in such cases the deposit is released only after final reconciliation.
